2,4-D Injury on Grape

Return to Abiotic Disorders

2,4-D (2,4 dichlorophenoxyacetic acid) herbicide injury symptoms include leaf twisting, malformation, and curling. Injury results when grapevines are exposed to the herbicide by spray drift, volatilization, or sprayer contamination. Grapes are extremely sensitive to 2,4-D, especially ester formulations.
