Honeyvine Milkweed in Apple Plantings

Honeyvine milkweed (Cynanchum laeve or Ampelamus albidus) is a vining weed that is difficult to control because of its large perennial taproot, rapid growth rate, large annual production of seeds, and minimal treatable surfaces. This weed rapidly grows up through trees, making it difficult to manage with post-emergent herbicides.
