Magnesium Deficiency of Apple

Magnesium Deficiency of Apple

Return to Nutrient Disorders

Magnesium deficiency symptoms typically show up on older leaves as light green blotches between veins, progressing toward the leaf margins. Blotches turn tan and then brown in color; most affected leaves drop from trees.

  • Apply magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt) to foliage and/or soil, or apply magnesium chelate or magnesium oxide to foliage
