Simazine herbicide injury symptoms include interveinal chlorosis (yellowing) and can potentially progress to necrosis (browning, tissue death). Damage occurs when simazine is used repeatedly for a number of years or if the rate is too high.

Management:

  • Follow label instructions and label rates when applying simazine in vineyards.
